Last month was truly special I had the distinct honor of showcasing my handmade paper dress sculpture, "Divine Feminine Bloom," at the Emma Darnell Aviation Museum. This vibrant event was a powerful celebration of Women's History Month , and incredibly, the largest all-female exhibit in the entire state of Georgia for the month of March! Being surrounded by the inspiring work of over 150 talented women artists was an experience I won't soon forget.

My contribution to this empowering collective, "Divine Feminine Bloom," is a piece that speaks to the beautiful unfolding of strength and power that arises when we connect with our Divine Feminine energy. The sculpture itself is a labor of love, meticulously crafted from over 300 individual pieces of paper, each carefully manipulated to contribute to the overall form and texture of the dress. The main techniques that were used were paper flower artistry and quilling.

The process of creating "Divine Feminine Bloom" was deeply meditative. Each fold, curl, and placement of the paper was a conscious step in bringing the vision to life - a vision of growth, resilience, and the inherent beauty within the feminine spirit. To see it standing amongst such a diverse and powerful collection of artwork at the EmpowerHer exhibit was truly fulfilling.

The energy of the opening reception was electric. Connecting with fellow artists and visitors, sharing the inspiration behind "Divine Feminine Bloom," and witnessing the collective celebration of women's creativity was incredibly moving. It reinforced the importance of spaces like the EmpowerHer exhibition, providing a platform for voices and visions that enrich our community.

Being a part of the largest all-female exhibit in Georgia during Women's History Month was an absolute privilege. It underscored the strength and vibrancy of the female artistic community in our state. I'm so grateful to have shared my "Divine Feminine Bloom" at the Emma Darnell aviation Center, and to be a part of such a significant and empowering event.

Thank you to everyone who visited the exhibition and connected with my work. Your support and encouragement mean the world. This experience has undoubtedly fueled my creative spirit, and I'm excited to continue exploring and expressing the themes of strength, growth, and inner power through my art.
